Last Days of Fall Tree Plantings

The NJ Tree Foundation’s Green Streets tree planting crew is wrapping up the fall 2011 season by planting 20 trees in Dumont, NJ! This fall, the Crew planted over 350 large shade trees in seven NJ towns. All of the trees were paid for via contract work. Thank you folks for hiring the NJ tree Foundation to plant trees!

NJ Urban Tree Spotlight

State-wide, NJTF trees are bringing nature back to our urban communities.

These colorful flowering trees bring life to the 2800 block of Harrison Avenue in Camden.
Liberty State Park is an oasis for Jersey City residents. Here, you see volunteers working on the NJTF's Grove of Remembrance for 9/11 victims.

Beautiful shade trees grace the sidewalks of Ann Street School in Newark, planted with NJTF on Earth Day.

Please stay posted for volunteer planting opportunities this spring. We need YOU to help reforest NJ’s most urban areas.
